Our State Government client based in Parramatta is requiring a Program Support Officer (Upgraded & Programmed Works) to be responsible for assisting the upgrade and compliance project team as required in the effective and efficient delivery of the Compliance Programs (Fire Safety / Property Assessment Survey / Detailed Property Assessment Surveys and change of Use Programs) and Upgrade works. This team will also respond to any ad hoc requests and provide assistance for program or project related to compliance, and upgrade works.

Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) is a Public Trading Enterprise within the Family and Community Services cluster. LAHC owns and manages the State Government's public housing portfolio of some 130,000 properties within New South Wales.

Project Divisions delivers neighbourhood scale new supply projects less than 100 dwellings, capital upgrade and recurrent programmed works and provides development advice and services through a commercially focused outsourcing model to support the achievement of LAHC's business objectives.

This position reports to the Snr Business Support Officer, yet work context is provided by the Compliance and Upgrade Project Managers.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to the implementation and coordination of compliance and upgrade related work & meet client service delivery needs

  • Prepare project reports and documentation for Manager's auditors, project officers and key stakeholders to communicate a range of matters related to compliance and upgrade works

  • Develop, manage and maintain large property databases and spreadsheets related to the compliance and upgrade programs and continually update the project statuses in a systematic and accurate manner

  • Coordinate with other key stakeholders such as Housing Services staff and external contractors in regards to the non-access issues related to the compliance and upgrade programs

  • Provide input , research and project driven assistance and support

  • Provide information, support, identification and notification of issues/complaints and report as needed on process awareness - assist team to work effectively with new suppliers contractors, consultants as required to ensure client satisfaction

  • Support team by creating new vendors, raise purchase orders and collate & process invoices

  • Draw and provide accurate reports and deliver project progress, participate in collaborative team discussions to capture, report and document advice

Key Skills:-

  • Project administration experience within Asset Management / Property upgrades

  • Good sound project and administration support

  • Advanced MS Office product skills - Excel / Word

  • Electronic Filing - Trim CM9 system is an advantage

  • Processing and collating of invoices

  • Excellent Stakeholder communication both written and verbal.
